While many people are getting actual precipitational flurries, it seemed like a good time to create a flurry of my own. Well, okay, it's really just that I've had some time off thanks to the holidays and vacation and could finally focus on this. :)

I've been thinking for a long time about a few related things that all ultimately boil down to spinning up some new blogs and moving some of my blogging activity from here to there.

This post is to announce that I'm moving a lot of my blogging activities off of dotNetTemplar. I'll still keep it as an archive, and I will continue to blog my technical/dev topics here, since I think that's the bulk of the current subscriber base. But all these other topics will be moving to their own "channels" on Blogger. Without further ado, the new blogs are:

  • Beyond Goodness - This is the book experiment I'm doing. The content will be similar to a lot of the non-tech posts here--philosophical and targeted at a broader, not-necessarily-Christian audience. I hope to turn it into a print book at some point.
  • Good Experience Design - This one is targeted at those interested in (user) experience design and general design-related items.
  • Romish Potpourri - This is the channel for my more general religious musings, targeted at the Christian and, particularly, Catholic audience.
  • Parvus Familias - This is the new "official" Little family blog, which will be mostly updates, pictures, etc. for our family and friends.
  • As noted, I'll keep this blog going for tech content, and for the rare few who may be interested in the "all Ambrose all the time" content (yeah right!), I threw together an aggregate Ambrose Little feed using Yahoo Pipes. Yahoo Pipes is pretty neat; you should check it out if you haven't!

I think it sounds more complicated than it is--I imagine most of my subscribers are only interested in one of these channels. So just subscribe to what you're interested in (or do nothing if you just want the technical/dev content here). My hope is that this will help people who are only interested in these particular topics to better be served.

Happy holidays!
